We have noticed over the last year or so since starting our ‘Account update’ notification text messages that we have a lot of customers with outdated details on our books or simply non existent but given that some of our customers have been with us for 20 years this can be expected. However it would be most appreciated if existing customer’s could fill out the form below so that we can check your account is up to date…

Why Do We Need Your Contact Details..?

Having a contact number for you as a customer means that we can provide you with an ‘Account Update’ each fortnight if we have missed you for payment, This helps the customer keep track of the bill and also means that rather than paying extra in wages & fuel to call back at your house multiple times for payment we can have a text message go to the customer from the office instead.. This has often been useful in that customers have replied to say they will not be home for payment that evening and will leave it in a secret place for pick up or have simply paid online via the website after the text reminder.. Communication is the key and can literally save us hundreds of pound, every penny we spend after the moment we clean your bin calling back for payment is dead money to the company and is something that has been pushing us towards a price increase to meet national wage increase, fuel prices & general inflation on cost of supplies. Hopefully this will help push that back for another couple of years.

One of the other major things we have found to be useful with our text updates is helping customers remember to put their bins out for collection over the holidays and on the occasions when collection days are temporarily changed, For example Christmas and more recently when the council gave little notice to a Saturday collection for hundreds of people on the ‘Tour Of Britain’ route.. On these occasions we will simply send you a quick reminder text the evening before collection to let you know that your bin needs to go out. Hundreds of customers get caught out by the Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day changes but with these text reminders we aim to reduce that dramatically and save people that dreaded journey to the tip..
