CHANGES TO BIN COLLECTIONS – CHRISTMAS – NEW YEAR 2020/2021

So.. ONLY the people with a usual collection day of FRIDAY for GREEN OR GREY bins will be AFFECTED by the change in collection schedule THIS YEAR as Xmas Day & New Years Day will both fall on the FRIDAY (Boxing Day on the Saturday so not conflicting with any collections)… the BIN MEN DO NOT WORK THIS BANK HOLIDAY so the collection for FRIDAY 25TH DECEMBER has now been moved to SUNDAY 27TH DECEMBER and the Collection for FRIDAY 1ST JANUARY has been moved to  SATURDAY 2ND JANUARY..

• BE SURE TO PUT YOUR BINS OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE – Bin men don’t hang around on these days and the council phone lines are closed to missed bin collections

Please put a note on your calendar or reminder on your phone, EVERY year we see hundreds of people left out by the bin men because they forget to put their bins out on time for collection so save yourself the bother of the rubbish mountain and get it out ready the evening before.

* PLEASE REMEMBER WE WILL ALSO BE OUT CLEANING BINS ON THE REVISED DATES TOO SO PLEASE LEAVE YOUR BINS OUT READY *
